LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Voters across the political spectrum voiced deep frustration and concern at a packed town hall Tuesday night in Georgia’s 4th District, challenging U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson on everything from job security and healthcare to political transparency and federal leadership.

Dozens of residents gathered at Gwinnett Technical College in Lawrenceville for a rare in-person opportunity to question their longtime congressman. Emotions ran high as constituents—Democrats, Republicans and Independents alike—expressed unease over the nation’s direction and dissatisfaction with the perceived lack of honesty from Washington.

“We are being abused by our government—every single person here,” one attendee said during the forum.
