The prosecution on Thursday rested its case in the murder trial of Karen Read, who is accused of backing her SUV into her Boston police officer boyfriend, John O’Keefe, and leaving him for dead.
A crash reconstruction expert was cross-examined Thursday morning about glass found at the crime scene, the level of suspension of Read’s SUV at the time of O’Keefe’s death, and the speed with which her SUV reversed.
The trial will resume on Friday morning.
