HONOLULU (Island News) – The Schofield Barracks soldier accused of murdering his pregnant wire, has agreed to take a plea deal.

This comes after Private First Class Dewayne Johnson II was charged with child pornography and murder.

Authorities took Johnson into custody in connection with the death of his wife, Mischa Johnson, who went missing in September of last year. Her body and their unborn child were never found.

Details on what Johnson is pleading guilty to remain undisclosed. A military judge is set to review the case.

Johnson’s next court appearance is set for the first week of June at the Wheeler Army Airfield.
