MUNCIE, Ind. -- Officials with the city of Muncie said the city's EMS chief has been placed on administrative leave after they became aware of charges recently filed against him.
According to a news release from the city of Muncie, officials said Wesley Miller, the city's EMS chief, was recently charged in relation to alleged crimes. The city said that the allegations are not connected to Miller's city duties and "did not occur within Muncie or Delaware County."
The city of Muncie confirmed that Miller was charged in Jay County on Tuesday for residential entry and domestic battery, each a Level 6 felony.
