MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - WMTV 15 News is hearing for the first time the 911 call that was placed after a deadly crash in Cottage Grove.

The crash happened at around 6:30 p.m. on April 28th in the 1300 block of Landmark Drive. Dr. Kami Hansen was killed when she out for a walk with her husband and one of their children.

15 News is only sharing a small portion of the call made to police. Dr. Kami’s husband is emotional as he describes what unfolded at the scene.

Caller : “Somebody just hit my wife and son.”

The dispatcher goes on to ask a few more questions and then you hear her husband describe what happened.

Dispatcher : “How many vehicles are involved?”

Caller : “One vehicle. And it was intentional.”

Dispatcher : “And this was intentional?”
