The Harper Creek boys golf team and Beaver senior Joey Mario have been having a great run recently.
Unfortunately, only Mario will get a chance to continue that run.
Harper Creek competed in a Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 2 boys golf regional at Island Hills Golf Course on Tuesday.
Playing in the highly-competitive regional, Harper Creek's team wasn't able to do enough to advance to the state meet as the Beavers finished in fourth place, one spot out of qualifying. Mario was able to get through as an individual as he was regional match medalist with the top score at the event at 72.
