BOSTON (WPRI) — Four former Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) workers and one current employee have been accused of falsifying Red Line track inspection reports, according to U.S. Attorney Leah Foley.
Brian Pfaffinger, 47, of Marshfield, Ronald Gamble, 62, of Dorchester, Jensen Vatel, 42, of Brockton, Nathalie Mendes, 53, of New Bedford, and Andy Vincente, 36, of Bridgewater, were arrested Thursday morning and have each been charged with aiding and abetting the falsification of records and aiding and abetting false statements.
Gamble, Vatel, Mendes and Vicente used to work for the MBTA as track inspectors. The suspects are accused of falsifying track inspection reports between Sept. 13 and Oct. 15 of last year.
