BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - A grand jury decided no charges will be brought against an off-duty Bryan Police Officer accused of shooting and killing his neighbor’s dog.

The officer, who was not identified by the department, was placed on administrative leave during the investigation by the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office.

Bryan police said the officer has returned to full duty.

The case was presented to a grand jury, which did not find enough evidence to charge the officer.
