Kenner police detectives have arrested a third suspect in connection with the death of a Kansas City sports reporter , allegedly killed while in the New Orleans area to cover the Super Bowl.

Christian Anderson, 33, of New Orleans, is accused of joining suspects Danette Colbert , 48, and Rickey White , 34, in their long-running scheme to target men out drinking in the New Orleans French Quarter.

The group would drug their victims in order to steal credit cards, cash, jewelry and other property, according to authorities.

That's what investigators say they believe happened when Colbert encountered 27-year-old Adan Manzano, a Kansas City Telemundo reporter covering Super Bowl LIX.
