A popular food truck event has moved to the West End under a new name.

The West End Food Truck Yard, formerly called the Sunset Food Truck Yard, opened last Thursday at Rozzells Ferry Landing. On Saturday, the yard will host its monthly block party, which attracts large crowds.

Formerly located on Sunset Road, the event was forced to relocate after nearby businesses complained of large crowds and improper parking.

La’Vonna Quick, a co-founder, said the new location means the block party, held on the last Saturday of each month, can add new amenities, such as indoor seating, a bar, live music, mobile toilets and security.

The block party starts at noon and ends at 8 p.m.
