A man gunned down in the Broadmoor neighborhood Wednesday has been identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office as 46-year-old William Thibodaux.
He died from a gunshot wound, Coroner Dwight McKenna said Friday.
New Orleans police were called to a shooting in the 3300 block of Napoleon Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and found Thibodaux, where paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, NOPD said.
Billy Dietrich, 48, was arrested on a second-degree murder charge in relation to the killing, WVUE-TV reported .
