New tenants are continuing to fill the space left by Microsoft in Bellevue’s City Center Plaza after the tech giant’s exit. According to a report from the Puget Sound Business Journal, artificial intelligence powerhouse OpenAI is significantly expanding its footprint in the Puget Sound area, leasing three floors and approximately 69,000 square feet at the tower. Plans for the new office include an interconnecting stairway, a 140-seat cafeteria, game and reading rooms, a “tech bar” and a wellness center. Additionally, the new headquarters will feature conference rooms, collaborative areas and office lounges. JPC Architects is the project’s designer.
