A former Los Angeles County probation official won’t face charges related to more than two dozen sexual abuse allegations by women who allege they were abused as minors.
Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman declined to charge Thomas Jackson, 58, due to the alleged incidents being too old to prosecute, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The District Attorney’s Office also declined to prosecute Altovise Abner, 46, a probation supervisor who was investigated for having sex with a minor at a camp in 2006, according to another April 7 memo.
The County referred the cases to the DA’s office in December 2023, a month after Hochman took office.
