RIO DI JANEIRO – Texas A&M volleyball’s Logan Lednicky was named to the U.S. Women’s National Team for the Volleyball Nations League, the organization announced Friday.

Lednicky joins a star-studded group of 14 athletes to represent the United States in Brazil for the first round of pool play for the Volleyball Nations League. The team traveling to Rio will play four matches versus Italy, Brazil, Czech Republic and South Korea.

“The past few weeks training in the USA gym has been such an amazing learning experience for me,” Lednicky said. “I am so blessed to be chosen for week one of VNL and can’t wait to represent the U.S. on an international stage for the first time.”
