LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The Lorain County Sheriff‘s Office Watercraft Enforcement Team seized a boat and arrested a North Ridgeville man for possession of crack cocaine on Thursday.
According to a Facebook post, 36-year-old Cory Funk was arrested following a watercraft safety check conducted by deputies in the Black River.
Deputies said Funk had crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a firearm. Funk was only charged with the drug offenses since he was not under disability at the time of the offense
He was taken to the Lorain County Jail, where he is being held until his bond hearing.
Deputies confirmed Funk is not the owner of the boat and are working to track down the owner to determine if Funk was legally in possession at the time of the arrest.
