Man, 20, woman, 82, identified as motorists who died after wrecks

Authorities have publicly named a man and a woman who died recently in North County traffic accidents.

At around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, Kealan Hannigan, 20, of Escondido collided with an SUV while riding a motorcycle in Escondido, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office .

Paramedics transported Hannigan from the accident scene at North Centre City Parkway and North Nutmeg Street to Palomar Medical Center, where doctors pronounced him dead about 40 minutes after the collision.

Two weeks ago, a Carlsbad woman died in a collision on El Camino Real and Jackspar Drive.
