GLEN ARM, Md. —

There's a new app to help Marylanders find the best ice cream and explore the state's hiking trails.

At the Prigel Family Farm in Glen Arm, Baltimore County, the creamery is a local favorite — especially for the chocolate coffee with cappuccino chips. At any one time, the creamery has about 30 flavors from which to choose.

"It's a good place to be in the summer," said Mandy Castillo, with the Prigel Family Creamery.

Now, you can find the sixth-generation Baltimore County farm and others on a map of this year's Maryland's Best Ice Cream Trail . The list is put together by the Maryland Department of Agriculture, and for the first time, you can find it on an app.
