COLUMBIA, S.C. (WSPA) -- There has been plenty of drama behind the scenes in Washington, D.C., surrounding President Donald Trump's “Big, Beautiful Bill,” including a "no" vote from one of South Carolina’s Republican representatives.

President Trump said his "Big, Beautiful Bill" includes GOP priorities such as tax cuts and extra border security.

"We're not doing any cutting of anything meaningful," Trump said. "The only thing we're cutting is waste, fraud, and abuse with Medicaid."

As expected, Democratic Rep. Jim Clyburn voted against the bill.

Rep. Ralph Norman, along with a few other GOP holdouts, initially voted against the bill, saying it didn’t go far enough to cut Medicaid benefits for undocumented immigrants.
