WASHINGTON — With just days before the WorldPride parade and street and music festivals, D.C. businesses are amping up preparations for the influx of visitors.

The owner of ThreeFifty Bakery & Coffee Bar on 17th Street in Dupont Circle said on any given day, the business sells a couple hundred scones and a couple hundred quiches. Jimmy Hopper and his team anticipate the number of goods sold to reach up to 800.

“It’s going to be a lot but if we have a line out the door, that’s great,” said Hopper. “We’ll just be prepared to bake more and serve more.”

The bakery is expected to benefit from the popular and busy 17th Street Block Party next Friday and Saturday.
