CINCINNATI (WKRC) — Hundreds are gathering to support research and education at the Liver Life Walk, an event inspiring hope through stories of survival and the lifesaving impact of liver transplants. Participants, including survivors and advocates, are sharing their journeys to raise awareness about liver health.
Sherry Patterson, a liver transplant survivor, explained the remarkable process of liver regeneration. "A portion of that liver can be transplanted into someone like me and it regenerates and you have a healthy liver. It's an amazing process," she said.
