IRON MOUNTAIN — Hope Church of Iron Mountain invites local students from kindergarten through 12th grade to participate in their inaugural Summer Reading Challenge, kicking off Sunday and running through July 31.

This initiative encourages young readers to explore exciting stories, educational resources and more throughout the summer months.

Students are asked to read five books of their choice, log their progress and have an adult submit their completed reading log by Aug. 5.

Students who complete the challenge will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 Walmart gift card along with a special Hope Church prize pack. One winner will be selected from each age group –kindergarten through third grade, fourth through eighth grades and ninth through 12th grades.
