Donors gave about $800,000 more to nonprofits as part of Give to Lincoln Day this year compared to 2024, coming at a time when organizations have faced questions about funding from the federal level.

When all was said and done Thursday, nearly 27,000 donors raised a record total of $9.38 million for the 502 participating nonprofits, the most to ever take part in Give to Lincoln Day.

The annual fundraiser, which marked its 14th year, started May 1 and culminated with the annual day of giving Thursday that ended at midnight.
