In Cal Anderson, the worship rally claimed the whole center of the park. Mayday USA, a far-right Christian group, constructed a towering stage with stadium speakers and a massive TV screen. They spread across the lawn, setting up tents for children’s haircuts and bicycle giveaways and raffles and baptisms in metal troughs.
