CHESTERTON — Police arrested two men who started a high-speed pursuit in a stolen vehicle that ended with a dramatic rollover crash in LaPorte County, where police arrested both suspects and later found more than 200 bottles of prescription drugs believed to have been stolen from a suburb of Minneapolis.

Crown Point officers were already pursuing the car, flagged by license plate readers as a stolen car with a Minnesota license plate, when a Chesterton Police Department officer patrolling Interstate 94 was notified of the stolen SUV traveling eastbound, police said in a news release Friday. The officer located the wanted car just west of the State Road 49 exit and joined in the pursuit.
