SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- We start a new month this weekend and Meteorologist Scot Mundt joins us with what to expect out of the storm center.

We turn the calendar page this weekend and start meteorological summer on Sunday. June is known to be our wettest month on average and it's also when we get the most severe weather in KELOLAND.

And we already have that chance for severe weather early in the month as the Storm Prediction Center has areas of KELOLAND outlined for severe weather Monday and Monday night.

As we go through the month, expect the first half of the month to bring in waves of showers and storms as temperatures and humidity go up and down over the next two weeks. Then the second half will have more consistent days with highs in the 80s, with humidity that will stick aroun
