WASHINGTON — One of the two men in custody for the murder of 31-year-old Blake Bozeman , the former Morgan State basketball star and father, has been released. Antwan Shleton, 40, was released from jail last month. Judge Rainey Brandt said on Friday that charges against him were dropped.

In the meantime, 44-year-old Cotey Wynn appeared in a preliminary hearing to determine whether there was probable cause to charge him with first-degree murder.

Prosecutor Dennis Clark questioned Metropolitan Police Department Lead Detective Harry Singleton, who alleged that on the night of Sept. 23, 2023, Wynn can be seen in surveillance video outside Cru Lounge going into the club.
