The Lompoc girls tennis team repeated as CIF Central Section Division 3 champion. Lompoc Valley aquatics also had a big school year.

Those were some of the main highlights for Lompoc Valley athletics in the 2024-25 school year.

The Lompoc girls tennis squad beat East Bakersfield 8-1 to win its third straight Division 3 championship under coach Mike Montross.

Rianna Stouppe and Mia Jansen rolled to a win at No. 1 doubles in the Division 3 title match, and Gabi Arias and Emma White at No. 2.

In singles, Stouppe at No. 1, Arias at No. 2, Jansen at No. 3, White at No. 4 and Ava Velasco at No. 5 all won in straight sets. Velasco gave the Braves their clinching fifth point by hitting a backhand winner at midcourt to put the wrap on a 6-0, 6-1 win.
