WEST MIFFLIN , Pa. – President Donald Trump used a Friday speech in the Pittsburgh area to announce a doubling of the tariff rate on foreign steel as prices continue to rise.
The move was paired with Friday’s official announcement of a $14 billion investment by Japanese-owned Nippon Steel into the iconic U.S. Steel, whose roots date back to the turn of the century in Pittsburgh. ×
