On Friday, May 30, 2025, at approximately 1244 hours, police responded to a 911 call of shots fired in the vicinity of E. 173 rd Street and Crotona Park, within the confines of the 42 nd Precinct in the Bronx .

Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male with a gunshot wound to the head.

EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased on scene.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
