PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WTRF) - President Donald Trump touched down in Pittsburgh on Friday for a rally at U.S. Steel's Irvin Works facility in West Mifflin.

Trump stopped in Pennsylvania to tout a new "planned partnership" between U.S. Steel and Nippon Steel from Japan.

The partnership promises a $14 billion investment, which the president says will create 70,000 new jobs.

The exact details have not been released, but the deal reportedly includes a "golden share" component, which guarantees an American CEO and a majority of board members being from the U.S., and would give the U.S. government the approval over certain corporate functions.
