COLUMBIA, Ill. (First Alert 4) - Police say an Uber driver was shot in the face Saturday morning in Columbia, Illinois.

The Columbia, Illinois police report that around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, a 52-year-old resident of Columbia was working as an Uber driver and picked up two men, 20 and 17 years old, in the northern part of St. Louis City. Shortly after entering the car, the passengers presented a gun which they pointed at the Uber driver and told him to drive to his house in Columbia, according to reports.

The driver took the two men to Columbia and then drove into the parking lot of the Columbia Police Department. When the car came to a stop in the lot, one of the men fired the gun, hitting the driver in the face.
