THANK YOU TUCSON!! 48 HOUR MASH FREE SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC A SUCCESS MORE THAN 1,100 CATS AND DOGS SERVICED

The 48 Hour MASH Free Spay/Neuter Clinic held October 9 through 11, at Los Ranchitos Elementary School was a huge success!

A total of 424 dogs and 376 cats were spayed and neutered and another 350 were scheduled for free spay, neuter and vaccinations at a future time.

The goal for the event was 500 animals.

“Thanks to the collaboration of the Sunnyside School District, the Ward 1 and Ward 5 Council offices, animal groups and organizations, the volunteers and most importantly, the 25 veterinarians who signed up to help, the event was a huge success and a good step to help control our pet population,” said Ward 5 Councilmember Richard Fimbres.
