CASTLE ROCK • It’s probably not something most people have given much thought to, but it is possible for a hamburger to be much more than a beef patty in a bun. Crave Real Burgers proves it with an exclamation point.

Talk about inventive toppings and combinations — Crave has this down to a culinary science. It felt like if we could dream it, they could make it. However, we relied on the menu offerings, many of which were unlike any before seen.

It was suggested that I try the Luther ($17.50), a patty topped with a fried egg and bacon held in place by two, count ‘em two, glazed doughnuts.
