OXFORD, Miss. (WLBT) - Six home runs, including a record-setter, keeps No. 10 Ole Miss baseball’s postseason alive during an elimination game win over Western Kentucky in Oxford on Saturday.

Rebels catcher Austin Fawley hit a solo home run in the top of the second inning to give Ole Miss a 3-2 lead and set a program record with the most home runs hit in a season, making it the 109th on the year.

Western Kentucky battled back to tie the game at 3 apiece before the Ole Miss offense responded in the fourth inning. Fawley hit his second home run of the game, and Ferriss Trophy Finalist Luke Hill hit an RBI single to give the Rebels a 5-3 lead.

The Rebels’ lead was extended 6-3 in the top of the fifth inning after Judd Uttermark hit his 21st home run of the season.
