TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WLBT) - Mississippi State could not hang with the Florida State Seminoles’ offense Saturday, losing 10-3.

The Seminoles got things started in the 2nd inning, with a big 2-run home run to get them on the board first.

The Bulldogs did not take long to respond, though. Later in the inning, they take one out of the park themselves to cut into that early Florida State lead.

The 4th inning was when the Seminoles busted this game open though, launching a big grand slam.

Mississippi State would respond again later in the inning with another 2-run shot from the program’s all-time leading home run hitter, Hunter Hines, but that was the last run they got in this game.

The Bulldogs will face Northeastern once again on Sunday at 11 a.m. in an elimination game.
