A man has died and three others are seriously injured following a crash between four motorbikes and a car in Wiltshire.

The collision happened on the A36 at Knook, near Warminster, at around 10:30am on Saturday 31 May.

Rob Best, 62, from Bradley Stoke, was fatally injured on his way to what his family have described as an adventure in Normandy.

Three others remain in hospital and officers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage to contact police.

In a tribute, the motorcyclist's family said: "On Saturday, 31st May, our beloved Robert Best lost his life in a road traffic accident. We would like to thank those who stopped and helped Rob and his friends to support them whilst waiting for the emergency services.
