DACULA, Ga. (WKRC) - A teenager's dedication to his job has captured the hearts of many, leading to a viral fundraiser that has amassed more than $175,000.

Mykale Baker, 18, rushed to work a shift at Burger King just hours after graduating from high school, a moment that was captured and shared on TikTok by Maria Mendoza.

The fundraiser, titled "From Burger King to a College Dream," quickly surpassed its initial $60,000 goal, reaching six figures within just 10 days, New York Post reported.

"I feel happy," said Baker, reported 11 Alive. "I just want to say thank you to my parents and all the people that see the good in me and believe in me, and donated all that money to me."
