VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — An off-duty Volusia County deputy was arrested Saturday night for riding a motorcycle with a fake tag, the sheriff's office announced on social media Sunday.

Erica Muzzy resigned after her arrest, acccording to the Volusia Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said Muzzy was stopped on I-4 near Deltona around 11:07 p.m. Saturday for riding a motorcycle with a tag that was flipped up and not visible. When the tag was flipped down, it read "CHASEM3."

Before the traffic stop, deputies said Muzzy had been involved in an incident just before 9 p.m. in Delonta.
