ERIN, Wis. – Former Texas A&M standout Hailee Cooper fired a 2-under 70 on Sunday to cement her place in the top 10 at seventh (tie) at the 80th U.S. Women’s Open at Erin Hills Golf Course.

Cooper, who lettered for the Aggies in 2022 and 2023, becomes the first Texas A&M player to finish in the top 10 at the U.S. Open. The previous best finish by an Aggie at the Open was a tie for 13th by Jamie Hullett at the 2005 edition at Cherry Hills in Colorado.
