The Final Stage in 2024 produced five overtimes; however, it gave a Team Penske driver their first victory of the season in a smooth manner this year.

Blaney and the No. 12 team for Team Penske won the Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville, earning their first victory of the 2025 Cup Series season. The driver of the No. 12 car created a large gap after the final green-flag pit stops, and with passing nearly impossible at the end, Carson Hocevar was unable to make up the ground.

It was a dominant victory for Blaney, who has been on the verge of winning multiple times in 2025. This is a significant victory for Team Penske, which has secured a spot for all three of its drivers in the 2025 NASCAR playoffs. Now, Blaney can focus on stacking playoff points to make his push for a second Cup Series championship easier in the fall.
