CINCINNATI —
Dozens gathered on the West Side Sunday, calling for justice for immigrants.
It came in response to the arrests made by federal agents Saturday in East Price Hill. Advertisement
The rally was held outside the Warsaw Avenue Kroger after three men were arrested near there Saturday.
There's still no response from ICE, Homeland Security or federal authorities from inquiries made by WLWT on the arrests.
However, the response from advocates, organizers and neighbors was swift.
"We don't consider this to be a political issue. We consider it a humanitarian issue. We believe all people, no matter where they're born or where they come from, deserve to be treated with love, dignity and respect," said Kevin Bonecutter, a West Side resident and one of the organizers.
