YOUNGSTOWN - The Youngstown Area Jewish Federation issued a statement expressing horror Saturday after a brutal firebombing in Boulder, Colorado, during a march for Israeli hostages. The attack occurred on the evening of Shavuot, a two-day Jewish holiday.
"Our hearts go out to everyone involved, and we pray for the quick recovery of those injured," the statement read.
The statement noted, "We don’t yet have all the details of what happened, though video footage of the suspect has emerged suggesting extreme Jewish hatred as a motive." The federation pledged to keep its community updated as more information becomes available.
