One of them is outfielder Jasson Dominguez, who appeared to injure his thumb in the fifth inning of the final game against the Dodgers. According to manager Aaron Boone, Dominguez is expected to undergo testing after experiencing discomfort while gripping the bat.

“I don’t think there’s much concern about it, just a left thumb contusion, so we’re gonna see tomorrow how it feels,” Dominguez said after the game. “Right now, I’m already feeling better, so I don’t think there’s anything concerning.”
