Turner couldn’t stay silent after watching the Phillies fail to slow down Brewers’ offense. “That’s a really good team over there,” Turner said, speaking on how difficult it was to contain them—especially in Game 2, where the Brewers exploded for a 17–7 win, delivering a blowout loss for the home team.

Turner’s own performance during the series was modest: he recorded 3 hits, 2 runs, 2 stolen bases, and drew one walk in 12 at-bats, finishing with a .250 average. He hasn’t driven in a run since May 30 and hasn’t hit a home run since May 19.
