KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) is investigating after a Kansas City, Kansas police officer fired their weapon, hitting a suspect in a domestic call dispute.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. Monday, June 2, in the 200 block of N. 78 Street, south of the Kansas Speedway.

The suspect was transported to an area hospital, and is currently in stable condition. No officers were injured in the incident.
