RAWLINS -- The Carbon County Museum will host its annual Carbon County Block Park this coming Saturday, June 7.

The festivities will be on the museum grounds at 904 West Walnut Street in Rawlins. The fun starts at 11 a.m. and continues through 4 p.m.

Food trucks and craft vendors will be on site. Pet Partners will also be on hand for anyone who wishes to adopt a kitten.

Children will have the opportunity to meet a mountain man, participate in a scavenger hunt or pet a goat. Live demonstrations will also be offered.

People are also invited to tour the museum and learn about the history of Rawlins and surrounding areas in Carbon County. The museum also sells copies of C.J. Box's books, all autographed by the author for sale. The proceeds of these sales go toward the fundraising efforts o
