WYLIE, Texas — A North Texas resident won $3 million from a scratch-off ticket, the Texas Lottery announced.

A Wylie resident claimed the top prize in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game, $3 Million Ca$h, officials said in a press release.

The winning ticket was purchased at AJ's Quick Trip located on South Ballard Avenue in Wylie. The winner chose to remain anonymous, according to the Texas Lottery.

The claimant won the first of four top prizes worth $3 million to be claimed in the game, the release states. The scratch-off game offers more than $154.5 million in prizes, lottery officials said.

Overall odds of winning any prize are one in 3.72, the release states.
