Isaw all this stuff on the internet over the weekend about Netflix’s Tudum, as if I was supposed to know what the hell “Tudum” was. I had to Google it. Tudum is positioned as their “fan event” and it’s just basically their upfront, where they drag all their celebs out to jazzhands and rustle up interest in their upcoming slate of shows. It was live this year — hosted by Sofia Carson; good for her! — and I guess this entire endeavor has been happening since 2020? Where have I even been? (And because I know you are also wondering, “Tudum” is the sound Netflix makes when you turn it on, which is funny. It’s like naming the fan event for Law and Order DUN DUN.) Anyway!
