CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County Sheriff says 80 people were arrested over the weekend during a multi-agency targeted operation on a nightclub.
Deputies, along with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and other federal, state and local partners, performed a sting operation on the Alamo nightclub, which officials say was an unlicensed bar off Highway 78 around 3 a.m. Sunday.
Charleston County Sheriff Carl Ritchie says law enforcement have been gathering information in this case since November after repeated noise complaints led deputies to investigate further.
