WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A 32-year-old man was arrested last week after police say he was involved in an incident involving an ATV in downtown Winston-Salem.

Police said that on May 24, a man operating an ATV fled from officers and deputies with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office while riding in downtown Winston-Salem. Authorities weren't able to apprehend the man, but he was later identified as 32-year-old Benny Clarence Williams.

On May 29, officers said they conducted a search warrant on Williams' home and found the ATV, as well as a gun and illegal drugs. He was arrested that day and is being held without bond at the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center.

Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

Possession with the Intent to Sel
